DAY MISSED ON FEBRUARY 4, 1998, BY THE STUDENTS OF
WASHINGTON STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN
DARLINGTON COUNTY WHEN THE SCHOOL WAS CLOSED DUE
TO THE SEWAGE SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONING IS EXEMPTED

MINIMUM PLAN FOR FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Exemption from required number of school days
SECTION 1. The school day missed on February 4, 1998, by the
students of Washington Street Elementary School in Darlington County
when the school was closed due to the sewage system malfunctioning is
exempted from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan for
full school days missed.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by
the Governor.
