Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Missed school day excused
SECTION 1. January 4, 2002, missed by the students of the Horry County School System when schools were closed due to inclement weather conditions is exempt from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 25th day of April, 2002.
Became law without the signature of the Governor -- 5/2/02.
