AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE GREENWOOD COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE MAY BE PAID FOR ATTENDING NOT MORE THAN THIRTEEN MEETINGS FOR EACH FISCAL YEAR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Payment may be received for up to thirteen meetings

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2 of Act 521 of 1996, the members of the Greenwood County Transportation Committee may receive payment for not more than thirteen meetings for each fiscal year upon issuance of vouchers approved by the chairman.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 8th day of May, 2002.
