A JOINT RESOLUTION TO FORGIVE ABSENCES OF STATE EMPLOYEES OR EMPLOYEES OF
STATE-SUPPORTED COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ON FEBRUARY 6, FEBRUARY 7, MARCH 3
AND MARCH 4, 1980, WHICH WERE DUE SOLELY TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Absences of certain employees forgiven
Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no state employee or
employee of a state-supported college or university who was absent from work
on February 6, 1980, February 7, 1980, March 3, 1980 or March 4, 1980, or any
part thereof, and who shall certify to his employer that such absence was
solely due to inclement weather, shall be docked pay or leave entitlements on
account of such absence.
Time effective
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor. |
