A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF JULIAN L.
HARBIN OF ANDERSON COUNTY AND EXTENDING
SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Whereas, Julian L. Harbin of Anderson County died on February
11, 1996, at the age of fifty-nine; and
Whereas, he was an industrial electrician at Owens-Corning
Fiberglas Corporation, was a member and past master of Hiram
Masonic Lodge #68, and was a member of the York Rite, Burning
Bush, and local Allied Union #15 at Owens-Corning; and
Whereas, he was a graduate of Boys High School and Tri County
Tech, was a former Boy Scout master and Little League baseball
coach, was very active in the Anderson County Democratic Party,
and was a member and elder of Central Presbyterian Church; and
Whereas, we want his family and friends to know that they are in
our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate
concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South
Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of Julian L.
Harbin of Anderson County and extend sympathy to his family and
friends.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
the family of Mr. Harbin.
