A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO PROVIDE THAT IF HIS EXCELLENCY, JAMES H. HODGES, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, CONVENES THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN EXTRA SESSION AFTER IT ADJOURNS ITS REGULAR SESSION, SINE DIE, IN 1999, ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CONDUCTING THE EXTRA SESSION MUST BE PAID FROM FUNDS APPROPRIATED FOR THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. If His Excellency, James H. Hodges, Governor of the State of South Carolina, convenes the General Assembly in extra session after it adjourns its regular session, sine die, in 1999, all costs associated with conducting the extra session must be paid from funds appropriated for the Governor's Office.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
