A SENATE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION AND BEST WISHES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE TO KENNETH P. NEAL OF CHEROKEE COUNTY UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY.

Whereas, Kenneth P. Neal began his career in 1985 as a trooper with the South Carolina Highway Patrol and in 1993, he transferred to the South Carolina State Transport Division. He retired on December 7, 1998; and

Whereas, Kenneth Neal was born June 4, 1961, and graduated from Clinton High School; and

Whereas, he served his country in the South Carolina National Guard; and

Whereas, Kenneth and his wife, Sharon, reside in Gaffney, South Carolina, and together they have one son, Chad; and

Whereas, Kenneth P. Neal has been an outstanding and dedicated public servant whose contributions are greatly appreciated and we are delighted to have this opportunity to accord him special recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate express their appreciation and best wishes to Kenneth P. Neal of Cherokee County upon the occasion of his retirement from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Kenneth P. Neal.
