AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 22-2-190, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE COUNTY JURY AREA DESIGNATIONS FOR USE IN MAGISTRATES COURTS, SO AS TO REVISE THE JURY AREAS FOR LAURENS COUNTY TO PROVIDE FOR ONE JURY AREA COUNTYWIDE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Laurens County jury areas, one jury area countywide

SECTION    1.    Section 22-2-190(30) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(30)    Laurens County

One jury area countywide"

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 20th day of April, 2010.

Approved the 26th day of April, 2010.
