VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 8-11-191 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT NO PUBLIC FUNDS OR PUBLIC RESOURCES MAY BE USED BY A PUBLIC OFFICIAL OR EMPLOYEE TO GRADE ANOTHER PUBLIC OFFICIAL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 1, Chapter 11, Title 8 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 8-11-191. No public funds or public resources may be used by a public official or employee to grade another public official."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
