A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES UPON THE DEATH OF MARY E. RABON ALLSBROOK OF HORRY COUNTY AND TO EXTEND THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mary E. Rabon Allsbrook of Aynor on June 30, 2015, at the age of sixty-eight; and

Whereas, Mary Allsbrook was the daughter of the late Mose A. Martin and the late Mattie Carroll Rabon Martin; and

Whereas, she was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and attended Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where her husband is pastor. Mrs. Allsbrook served as a pastor's wife for over forty years and ministered to others in her own special way; and

Whereas, it is said that Mrs. Allsbrook never met a stranger and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, friends, and in church. She was also a loving foster mother to many children during times when they needed love and kindness the most; and

Whereas, Mary Allsbrook leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of forty-nine years, Preacher Ragsdale Allsbrook; three daughters, Alicia Richardson (Charles), Misty Pappas (Chuck), Jerri Bunch (David), and son, Frankie Allsbrook; nine grandchildren, Ragan, Walt, and Grace Richardson, Spiro, Lex, Stella Brooke, and Maximos Pappas, and Morgan and Jordan Bunch; three brothers, Billy Rabon, Kenneth Rabon (Reba), Charlie Rabon (Linda); one sister, Betty Rose Hardwick; two sister-in-laws, Margaret and Lila Rabon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Rodney Allsbrook. Mary will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, express their profound sorrow upon the death of Mary E. Rabon Allsbrook of Horry County and extend the deepest sympathy to her family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to Preacher Ragsdale Allsbrook for the family.
