Rep. WHITE proposes the following Amendment No. to H.5126 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Adds a new proviso sunsetting any funds appropriated for the Captain Sam's Spit settlement at the end of the fiscal year and prevents its carryforward without the approval of the General Assembly.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 92D, OFFICE OF RESILIENCE, page 470, after line 29, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/Any funds appropriated or authorized in this act for the acquisition of property or settlement of litigation related to Captain Sam's Spit shall expire at the end of the fiscal year and may not be carried forward or reauthorized without the approval of the General Assembly through subsequent legislation./

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend totals and titles to conform.
