A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXTENDING THE BEST WISHES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO MR. W. GLADDEN SMOKE OF CHEROKEE COUNTY FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY FROM HIS RECENT ILLNESS.

Whereas, it has been brought to the attention of the members of the General Assembly that Mr. W. Gladden Smoke of Cherokee County has recently been quite ill; and

Whereas, Mr. Smoke is an outstanding individual who has contributed greatly of his time, talents, and energy to many civic and community causes in Gaffney and is tremendously respected, admired, and beloved by all who know him; and

Whereas, we want Mr. Smoke to know that we are thinking of him and that we certainly hope that he will soon feel much better and be well on the road to recovery. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extend best wishes to Mr. W. Gladden Smoke of Cherokee County for a speedy recovery from his recent illness.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Smoke at Gaffney.
