A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE PETER T. LEE OF NORTH AUGUSTA UPON BEING NAMED THE VALEDICTORIAN FOR THE 1992 SENIOR CLASS AT NORTH AUGUSTA HIGH SCHOOL AND TO NOTE THE MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF THIS FINE YOUNG MAN TO HIS SCHOOL, HIS COMMUNITY, AND THIS STATE.

Whereas, Peter T. Lee of North Augusta has been named the valedictorian for the 1992 Senior Class at North Augusta High School; and

Whereas, this honor is one of many achievements of this amazing young man who thus far in his life already has experienced success far beyond the dreams of most men; and

Whereas, Peter is the son of Korean immigrants Myung and Younghi Lee and has made his parents very proud; and

Whereas, as well as being named the 1992 North Augusta High School Valedictorian, Peter served as captain of the varsity soccer team and was named the most valuable defensive player. Peter scored 1440 on the Scholastic Achievement Test and was a National Merit Finalist and a member of the Math Team for four years, which was first in the county; Mu Alpha Theta, the Math Honorary Club; the Science Olympiad Team; JETS, the Science Club; and the Student Council. Peter attended the Governor's School and Boys' State and was named to the Hall of Fame at North Augusta High School; and

Whereas, in Peter's spare time, he has figured out a way to expand Pascal's Triangle into a pyramid, creating infinite dimensions and information in determining probabilities, binomial expansion, sequences and series, and combinations of these. This discovery is being researched to determine if it ever has been advanced before; and
