TO AMEND THE RULES OF THE SENATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA BY ADDING AN APPROPRIATELY NUMBERED RULE PROHIBITING INTRODUCTIONS OF OR REFERENCES TO A PERSON OR GROUP OF PERSONS IN THE SENATE GALLERY.
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the Rules of the Senate are amended by adding an appropriately numbered rule to read:
When the Senate is in session, no Senator may introduce to the Senate or bring to the attention of the Senate a person or group of persons in the gallery. No motion to suspend this rule is in order, nor may the presiding officer entertain any request to suspend it by unanimous consent."
