A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAY OF MAY 7, 1992, MISSED BY STUDENTS IN HAMPTON SCHOOL DISTRICTS 1 AND 2 DUE TO A BOMB THREAT IS EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

School exempt from make-up days

SECTION 1. The school day of May 7, 1992, missed by the students attending school in Hampton School Districts 1 and 2 because of a bomb threat is exempt from the requirement of the Defined Minimum Plan that all school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
