AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-9-820, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES TO PERMANENTLY AND TOTALLY DISABLED VETERANS, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS' AFFAIRS, THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS' AFFAIRS, OR A COUNTY VETERANS' AFFAIRS OFFICER TO ISSUE AN IDENTIFICATION CARD TO THESE VETERANS TO BE USED AS A HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Identification card issued to disabled veterans as a hunting and fishing license or permit by United States, state, and county veterans affairs officers
SECTION 1. Section 50-9-820 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"Section 50-9-820. When the United States Department of Veterans' Affairs, the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs, or a County Veterans' Affairs Officer issues an identification card stating the individual named thereon is one hundred percent permanently and totally disabled, the card shall be deemed to be a hunting and fishing license or permit for such individual in lieu of any and all other permits or licenses issued by the State or county."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
