TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 8-13-412 SO AS TO PROHIBIT A MEMBER OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY FROM ACCEPTING A FEE FOR PRACTICING BEFORE A STATE OR COUNTY BOARD OR COMMISSION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 7, Chapter 13, Title 8 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 8-13-412. A member of the General Assembly may not accept a fee for practicing before a state or county board or commission."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect January 1, 1992.
