AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-380, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE VOTING PRECINCTS IN LEXINGTON COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE THE DATE OF THE OFFICIAL MAP ON WHICH THESE PRECINCTS ARE SHOWN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Lexington County Precincts
SECTION 1. The second paragraph of Section 7-7-380 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"The polling places of the various voting precincts in Lexington County must be designated by the Lexington County Election Commission. The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on the official map dated May 28, 1992, on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the South Carolina Budget and Control Board and as shown on certified copies provided to the State Election Commission and the Board of Voter Registration of the county by the Division of Research and Statistical Services. The official map may not be changed except by act of the General Assembly."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
