TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD, RELATING TO MEMBERS OF STATE BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, OR COMMITTEES AND THE SCHEDULE OF ALLOWABLE DEDUCTIONS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1523, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Budget and Control Board, relating to Members of State Boards, Commissions, or Committees and the Schedule of Allowable Deductions, designated as Regulation Document Number 1523, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The proposed amendment provides that members of state boards, commissions, or committees who are not state employees will be reimbursed for meals at the same rates and under the same conditions as are state employees.
