A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

COMMENDING MR. RAYMOND REICH FOR HIS COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION.

Whereas, Mr. Raymond Reich is the owner and general manager of WDXY and WIBZ Radio and Southern Communications; and

Whereas, as an adjunct to his business affairs, he is immersed in educational programs in Sumter County, which is indicative of his concern about the future of this State's students; and

Whereas, he promotes student achievement by sponsoring the Sumter County School District Two and seventeen morning news programs; and

Whereas, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Sumter Achievement and Workforce 2000+; and

Whereas, he has supported students and educational and youth leadership programs in many other ways and is truly a credit to himself, his family, his business, Sumter County, and the State. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends Mr. Raymond Reich for his commitment to excellence in education.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Reich.
