A BILL

TO ELIMINATE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY'S OFFICE OF PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND TO PLACE UNEXPENDED FUNDS USED FOR THE OPERATION OF THIS OFFICE IN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding another provision of law, the Department of Public Safety's Office of Professional Responsibility is terminated. Unexpended funds used for the operation of this office must be placed in the general fund of the State.

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
