TO CONGRATULATE FLOYD I. HARPER, JR., OF WEST COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, UPON BEING SELECTED TO RECEIVE THE SOUTH CAROLINA TAX COUNCIL 1996 SERVICE AWARD AND TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE TAX PROFESSION AND FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE SOUTH CAROLINA TAX COUNCIL.
Whereas, Floyd I. Harper, Jr., of West Columbia, South Carolina, has been selected by the South Carolina Tax Council to receive the Council's 1996 Service Award; and
Whereas, Mr. Harper, a tax practitioner, was a founding member of the South Carolina Tax Council; and
Whereas, he is a skillful, dedicated practitioner conducting his tax practice with the utmost competence and displaying the highest professional standards; and
Whereas, Mr. Harper has made significant contributions to the growth and development of the South Carolina Tax Council and has been instrumental in the advancement of the tax profession. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Floyd I. Harper, Jr., of West Columbia, South Carolina, upon being selected to receive the South Carolina Tax Council 1996 Service Award, and commend him for his contribution to the advancement of the tax profession and for his faithful and unselfish service to his community and the South Carolina Tax Council.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Floyd I. Harper, Jr.
