TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-310, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE OPEN SEASON FOR ANTLERED DEER, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE OPEN SEASON FOR TAKING ANTLERED DEER IN GAME ZONE 4 WITH BOW AND ARROW SHALL BE AS SET BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES BETWEEN AUGUST FIFTEENTH AND JANUARY FIRST.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-11-310(A)(1) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 375 of 1994, is further amended by adding a new paragraph at the end to read:
"Notwithstanding the above provisions of this item (1), the open season for taking antlered deer in Game Zone 4 with bow and arrow shall be as set by the department between August fifteenth and January first."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
