AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 44-6-50, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMISSION ENTERING INTO CONTRACTS WITH OTHER AGENCIES, SO AS TO EXPAND WITH WHOM THE COMMISSION MAY CONTRACT FOR ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Contracts for eligibility determination
SECTION 1. Section 44-6-50(1) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"(1) Contract for health and human services eligibility determination with performance standards regarding quality control as required by law or regulation."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
