A HOUSE RESOLUTION

EXTENDING THE PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO OUR CURRENT "MISS SOUTH CAROLINA", ANGELA MICHELLE PHILLIPS, AND TO ALL OF THE CONTESTANTS COMPETING IN THE 1997 MISS SOUTH CAROLINA PAGEANT FOR THE PURPOSE OF BEING RECOGNIZED AND CONGRATULATED ON THE SPECIAL OCCASION OF "MISS SOUTH CAROLINA APPRECIATION DAY" ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, 1997, AT A TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SPEAKER.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That our current "Miss South Carolina", Angela Michelle Phillips, and all of the contestants competing in the 1997 Miss South Carolina Pageant are extended the privilege of the floor of the House of Representatives for the purpose of being recognized and congratulated on the special occasion of "Miss South Carolina Appreciation Day" on Wednesday, April 23, 1997, at a time to be determined by the Speaker.
