TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA JAYCEES TO USE THE CHAMBER OF THE SENATE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 5, 2000, TO CONDUCT ITS MODEL LEGISLATURE.

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the South Carolina Jaycees are authorized to use the chamber of the Senate on Saturday, August 5, 2000, to conduct its model legislature. If the Senate is in statewide session, the Senate chamber may not be used.

Be it further resolved that the South Carolina Jaycees model legislature shall be granted access to and use of the Senate chamber in accordance with such guidelines and requirements as the clerk of the Senate shall direct.

Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the Senate chamber by the South Carolina Jaycees model legislature on this date.
