TO REQUIRE THAT THE ANNUAL COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME BETWEEN CLEMSON UNIVERSITY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA MUST BE CALLED THE SOUTH CAROLINA THANKSGIVING BOWL AND PLAYED ON THANKSGIVING DAY ON A HOME AND HOME BASIS, BEGINNING AT CLEMSON IN THE YEAR 2000.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The annual college football game between Clemson University and the University of South Carolina must be called the South Carolina Thanksgiving Bowl and must be played on Thanksgiving Day on a home and home basis, beginning at Clemson in the year 2000.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
