AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 49-29-230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTAIN SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATIONS, SO AS TO EXTEND THE DOWNSTREAM ASHLEY RIVER SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATION TO THE HIGHWAY 526 BRIDGE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Portion of Ashley River designated as scenic river

SECTION 1. Section 49-29-230(5) of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 408 of 1998, is amended to read:

"(5) that portion of the Ashley River located between the Highway 17A bridge crossing of the Ashley River and downstream to the Highway 526 bridge crossing of the Ashley River."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 28th day of April, 1999.

Approved the 3rd day of May, 1999.
