INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 5036), to request the Department of Transportation to name the bridge located on South Carolina Highway 171 in Charleston County which connects the mainland to Folly Island the "Lee Westbury Bridge", etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same, and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE BRIDGE LOCATED ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 171 IN CHARLESTON COUNTY WHICH CONNECTS THE MAINLAND TO FOLLY ISLAND THE "LEE WESTBURY BRIDGE" AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, requests the Department of Transportation to name the bridge located on South Carolina Highway 171 in Charleston County which connects the mainland to Folly Island the "Lee Westbury Bridge" and to erect appropriate signs or markers.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
