A BILL

TO AMEND CHAPTER 11, TITLE 50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF GAME, BY ADDING SECTION 50-11-95, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO HUNT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY IN GAME ZONE 4 ON SUNDAY, AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 1, Chapter 11, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

    "Section 50-11-95. It is unlawful for any person to hunt on private property in Game Zone 4 on Sunday. Any person violating this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned for not more than thirty days, or both."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
