TO APPROPRIATE, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002 ONLY, MONIES FROM THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT FUND TO BE USED FOR THE SILVER CARD PROGRAM, COMMUNITY LONG TERM CARE, PALMETTO SENIOR CARE, AND RESTORATION OF PRESCRIPTION AWP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Of the funds appropriated to the Local Government Fund under the provisions of Chapter 27, Title 6 of the 1976 Code, and notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6-27-50 of the 1976 Code, for fiscal year 2001-2002 only, there is appropriated twenty-five million eight hundred thousand dollars to fund the following: Budget and Control Board (Office of Insurance Services), Silver Card Program, twenty million dollars; Department of Health and Human Services: Community Long Term Care, one million six hundred thousand dollars, Palmetto Senior Care, one million seven hundred thousand dollars, and Restoration of Prescription AWP (thirteen percent to ten percent), two million five hundred thousand dollars.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
