TO CONGRATULATE CLYDE E. CHAPMAN AND BETTY B. CHAPMAN OF EASLEY UPON CELEBRATING THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXTEND THEM MANY MORE YEARS OF LOVE AND HAPPINESS TOGETHER.
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives congratulate Clyde E. Chapman and Betty B. Chapman on their fifty loving years of marriage and wish them many more; and
Whereas, Clyde and Betty Chapman are devoted to each other and have joyfully stood together as a model married couple for fifty years. Their loyalty and love abounds and amazes us all as we strive to emulate their marriage in our own; and
Whereas, Mr. and Mrs. Chapman will celebrate their fiftieth anniversary on Sunday, April 22, 2001, at a celebration given by their children, Karen, Rick, and Julie, at the Easley Baptist Church; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives want the Chapmans to know that their thoughts are with them on this splendid occasion and each member of the House shares in their joy. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Clyde E. Chapman and Betty B. Chapman of Easley upon celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary and extend them many more years of love and happiness together.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Chapman.
