A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING MR. MARION G. SWINK OF FLORENCE COUNTY ON BEING SELECTED TO RECEIVE THE FOOD INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

Whereas, Mr. Marion G. Swink of Florence County has been selected to receive the Food Industry Association (FIA) of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award; and

Whereas, FIA of South Carolina members are food processors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and academic departments throughout South Carolina whose purpose is to promote, develop, and assist the food industry in South Carolina as an association; and

Whereas, Mr. Swink's selection to receive the FIA of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award is a distinct honor not only for him but for all the people of South Carolina who are benefiting from his devotion and dedication to the food industry in this State; and

Whereas, we are pleased to have this opportunity to give special recognition to one of South Carolina's outstanding citizens on this important occurrence. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina congratulates Mr. Marion G. Swink on being selected to receive the Food Industry Association of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Marion G. Swink.
