A BILL

TO REPEAL SECTION 12-28-2910, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ANNUAL DEDICATION OF EIGHTEEN MILLION DOLLARS IN GASOLINE AND MOTOR FUEL REVENUES TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT FOR GASOLINE AND MOTOR FUEL TAXES PAID AFTER JUNE 30, 2001.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 12-28-2910 of the 1976 Code is repealed with respect to gasoline and motor fuel taxes paid after June 30, 2001.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
