TO COMMEND LANNES PROTHRO AND WILLIAM PROTHRO OF MANNING, PROUD OWNERS OF THE PROTHRO CHEVY-OLDSMOBILE AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP, AND THEIR DEDICATED EMPLOYEES, FOR SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS OF OUTSTANDING HOMETOWN AUTOMOTIVE SALES AND SERVICE, AND TO CONGRATULATE THEM ON THE OCCASION OF THE PROTHRO CHEVY-OLDSMOBILE DEALERSHIP'S CELEBRATION OF SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS OF FAMILY TRADITIONS AS A HOMETOWN FULL-SERVICE AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP.
Whereas, since 1926, the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile automotive dealership of Manning has been Manning's hometown full-service automotive dealership and is celebrating seventy-five years of family traditions as Manning's hometown full-service automotive dealership; and
Whereas, Lannes Prothro and William Prothro are the proud owners of the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile automotive dealership, providing jobs, leadership, and business acumen for the benefit of the dealership and its devoted employees; and
Whereas, the talented staff of sales associates includes Billy Brasington and Chuck Duke, both of whom make the customer feel at home at the hometown dealership. Whether the customer needs a new car, truck, or SUV, the sales associates are there to help; and
Whereas, Administrative Assistants Valaree Richburg, Mildred Dennis, Becky Bryant, and Hazel Erickson, and Financial Assistant, Lee Stogner, all render invaluable assistance to the dealership and its many customers and friends; and
Whereas, the parts department is ably staffed by Ryan Kropf, Hartley Brewer, and Charles Wilson; and
Whereas, Hartley Brewer, Steve Borsemia, Bob Shadd, and Jim Owens make up the body shop department; and
Whereas, the service department consists of Jim Owens, Kirk Way, Steve Borsemia, David Witt, Charles Wilson, Fred Cubit, Anthony Pierson, Adam Hall, Calvin White, Bob Shadd, Alexander Martin, Ryan Kropf, Frank Yarbrough, Hugh Ray Thompson, Thomas Oliver, and Hartley Brewer; and
Whereas, always a welcome sight when you need a tow, Sammy Lesene takes care of the dealership's wrecker service; and
Whereas, consistent with good business practices and the American way, customer satisfaction is the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile dealership's number one goal. When shopping for a new or used car, truck, or SUV, or seeking automotive service or roadside assistance, the owners and talented staff of the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile dealership make it their business to make sure their customers, and the citizens and residents of Manning, Clarendon County, and the surrounding area, always receive prompt and courteous service and true value for the dollar spent. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend Lannes Prothro and William Prothro of Manning, proud owners of the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile automotive dealership, and their dedicated employees, for seventy-five years of outstanding hometown automotive sales and service, and to congratulate them on the occasion of the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile dealership's celebration of seventy-five years of family traditions as a hometown full-service automotive dealership.
Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution be presented to Lannes Prothro, William Prothro, and the Prothro Chevy-Oldsmobile dealership of Manning.
