CONGRATULATING EASLEY AMERICAN LEGION POST 52 UPON WINNING ITS FIRST AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.
Whereas, Easley Post 52 recently won its first American Legion Baseball State Championship at Riley Park in Sumter by defeating Florence Post 1; and
Whereas, the championship team represented numerous high schools in the upstate region which included Easley High School, Pickens High School, Liberty High School, and Daniel High School; and
Whereas, under the leadership of Head Coach, Randy Bray, the championship roster consisted of the following players: Jerry Tutt, Kevin Lockaby, Daniel Martin, McCreight King, Nik Young, Kevin Loudermilk, Brandon Rowland, Cole Kent, Brian Henson, Danny McClure, Charlie Durham, Graham Adcox, Charles Bartley, Zach Bolding, Adam McCollum, Marc Hiles, Jonathan Pitts, and Robert Parrish; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives would like to take this opportunity to commend Easley Post 52 on completing a successful baseball season. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the coaches, players, and staff of Easley American Legion Post 52 upon winning its first American Legion Baseball State Championship.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Coach Randy Bray on behalf of Easley American Legion Post 52.
