A JOINT RESOLUTION

REINSTATING MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT FOR COUNSELING AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES ELIMINATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PURSUANT TO THE MEDICAID BULLETIN DATED OCTOBER 31, 2001, PUBLISHED BY THE DEPARTMENT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The Medicaid reimbursement for counseling and behavioral health services eliminated by the Department of Health and Human Services pursuant to the Medicaid Bulletin dated October 31, 2001, published by the department is reinstated effective with Medicaid reimbursements paid for these services on or after the effective date of this joint resolution.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
