              Versions of This Bill

TO AMEND SECTION 59-121-20, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO TERMS OF MEMBERS ON THE BOARD OF VISITORS OF THE CITADEL, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT NO MEMBER MAY SERVE MORE THAN TWO CONSECUTIVE TERMS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 59-121-20 of the 1976 Code, as amended by Act 248 of 1991, is further amended by adding at the end:

    "A member may not serve more than two consecutive terms, excluding appointment to fill an unexpired portion of the term."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
