A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO HARVEY BANDY FOR HIS THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF MCCORMICK, MCCORMICK COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA IN HIS ROLE AS MEMBER OF THE TOWN COUNCIL.

Whereas, Councilman Harvey Bandy gives up his seat on the McCormick Town Council at the end of this term, concluding a thirty-year tenure of service to the people of McCormick and South Carolina; and

Whereas, his long and loyal leadership was crucial in many of the innovations and enhancements to the quality of life in McCormick; and

Whereas, during Councilman Bandy's thirty years on council, he has seen two expansions of the water and sewer departments, two redistricting plans, and numerous building renovations; and

Whereas, his courageous service has also included voluntary service as a firefighter. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina express their gratitude to Harvey Bandy for his thirty years of service to the Town of McCormick, McCormick County, and the State of South Carolina in his role as member of the town council.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Councilman Bandy.
