A BILL

TO AMEND CHAPTER 11, TITLE 25, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VETERANS AFFAIRS, BY ADDING SECTION 25-11-55 TO PROVIDE THAT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY SHALL APPROPRIATE FUNDS DIRECTLY TO THE COUNTY VETERANS AFFAIRS OFFICES IN A MANNER TO BE PROVIDED BY LAW.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 25-11-55. The General Assembly shall appropriate funds directly to the county veterans affairs offices in a manner to be provided in the general appropriations act."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
