A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO DISSOLVE THE CHARLESTON NAVAL BASE REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND DEVOLVE ITS POWERS, DUTIES, AND ASSETS AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 12, TITLE 31, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, UPON THE CITY OF NORTH CHARLESTON.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding another provision of law, the Charleston Naval Base Redevelopment Authority, as created by gubernatorial executive order pursuant to Section 31-12-40 of the 1976 Code is dissolved, and all its powers, duties, and assets are devolved upon the City of North Charleston.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
