TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL, RELATING TO RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT INSPECTION FEES, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2672, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Health and Environmental Control, relating to Retail Food Establishment Inspection Fees, designated as Regulation Document Number 2672, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
R.61-37, Retail Food Establishment Inspection Fees, places authorization of retail food facility inspection fees in a regulation subject to the Administrative Procedures Act and public review. The purpose of this amendment is to change the late penalties and permit reinstatement fees associated with payment of retail food establishment inspection fees from $30.00 to $25.00, thereby eliminating confusion and accounting difficulties in crediting payment of fees.
