THE HORRY COUNTY DELEGATION

    To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3925) to provide that the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test (PACT) shall be administered annually in the Horry County School System on the day following completion of the district's one hundred sixtieth day, etc., respectfully

    That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO PROVIDE THAT THE PALMETTO ACHIEVEMENT CHALLENGE TEST (PACT) SHALL BE ADMINISTERED ANNUALLY IN THE HORRY COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM ON THE DAY FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF THE DISTRICT'S ONE HUNDRED SIXTIETH DAY OF STUDENT INSTRUCTION WITH THE MAKE-UP TEST TO BE TWO WEEKS LATER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test (PACT) shall be administered annually in the Horry County School System on the day following completion of the district's one hundred sixtieth day of student instruction with the make-up test to be two weeks later.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
