INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

    To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 424) to request the South Carolina Department of Transportation to erect appropriate signs along the east and westbound lanes of Interstate Highway 26 between mile marker 199 in Berkeley County and its terminal interchange, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

    That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ERECT APPROPRIATE SIGNS ALONG THE EAST AND WESTBOUND LANES OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 26 BETWEEN MILE MARKER 199 IN BERKELEY COUNTY AND ITS TERMINAL INTERCHANGE WITH UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 17 IN CHARLESTON COUNTY THAT READ "NO TRUCKS 3 AXLES OR MORE LEFT LANE EXCEPT TO PASS".

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina request that the South Carolina Department of Transportation erect appropriate signs along both the east and westbound lanes of Interstate Highway 26 between mile marker 199 in Berkeley County and its terminal interchange with United States Highway 17 in Charleston County that read "No Trucks 3 Axles Or More Left Lane Except To Pass".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
