A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HONOR THE MOTOR VEHICLE MAXIMUM LENGTH LIMITATIONS PERMITTED BY THE STATES OF NORTH CAROLINA AND GEORGIA, RESPECTIVELY, UPON MOTOR VEHICLES THAT DISPLAY FARM TRUCK LICENSE PLATES FROM THOSE STATES.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, request that the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Transportation honor the motor vehicle maximum length limitations permitted by the states of North Carolina and Georgia, respectively, upon motor vehicles that display farm truck license plates from those states.

Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Director of the Department of Public Safety and the Director of the Department of Transportation.
