A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE DORMAN HIGH SCHOOL CAVALIERS GIRLS GOLF TEAM AND COACH LEWIS TERRY ON WINNING THE CLASS AAAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AND COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives are proud to have the opportunity to recognize the members of the Dorman High School Girls Golf Team for winning the state championship; and

Whereas, the Dorman High School Girls Golf Team had a remarkable season with a record of fifty-four wins and only two losses; and

Whereas, the focus and determination of the Cavaliers Girls Golf Team allowed them to prevail at the Lexington Lady Cat Tournament and the Dorman Lady Cavalier Tournament; and

Whereas, Laura Parris and Kelly White of the Cavaliers Girls Golf Team were selected to the All-State team for their superb play throughout the season; and

Whereas, the Cavaliers outstanding season would not have been possible without the excellent coaching abilities of Head Coach Lewis Terry; and

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives are proud to honor the Dorman High School Girls Golf Team on their outstanding season and capturing the state championship title. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate the Dorman High School Cavaliers Girls Golf Team and Coach Lewis Terry on winning the Class AAAA State Championship and commend them for their hard work and dedication.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Dorman High School Cavaliers Girls Golf Team.
