VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO EXTEND THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO MR. JERRY HOWARD BRIDGERS OF COLUMBIA ON BEING CHOSEN TO RECEIVE THE FOOD INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.
Whereas, the Food Industry Association of South Carolina members are food processors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and academic departments throughout South Carolina, whose purpose is to promote, develop, and assist the food industry in this State; and
Whereas, the Association's Lifetime Achievement Award is a prestigious honor that recognizes only the most outstanding and influential members of the food industry; and
Whereas, this award is a distinct honor not only for Jerry Bridgers but also for the entire State, as the citizens of South Carolina are the true beneficiaries of the dedication and commitment that Mr. Bridgers gives to this entity; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are pleased to have this opportunity to give special recognition to an outstanding citizen on this important occasion in his professional life. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, extend their most sincere congratulations to Mr. Jerry Howard Bridgers of Columbia on being chosen to receive the Food Industry Association of South Carolina Lifetime Achievement Award.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Jerry Howard Bridgers.
