A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND MR. GERALD R. McKAY FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS THE FIRST AARP MOBILE INFORMATION CENTER COORDINATOR IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

Whereas, Gerald R. McKay is the first AARP Mobile Information Center Coordinator in South Carolina; and

Whereas, he is recognized as a leader for the American Association of Retired Persons throughout the State of South Carolina and managed one of AARP's five Mobile Information Centers in the country; and

Whereas, this dedication has brought much deserved recognition to him, our State, and the South Carolina Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons; and

Whereas, this example of unselfish service to others through his work with AARP should inspire more people to do the same; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to recognize and thank Gerald R. McKay for his wonderful service as the first AARP Mobile Information Center Coordinator in South Carolina. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly hereby commend Mr. Gerald R. McKay for his outstanding service as the first AARP Mobile Information Center Coordinator in South Carolina.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. McKay.
