VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND DR. MICHALE G. LEMROW FOR HER VISION, DEDICATION, AND LEADERSHIP AS PRINCIPAL OF E. L. WRIGHT MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND TO WISH HER WELL IN HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, as Principal of E. L. Wright Middle School, Dr. Michale G. Lemrow shared and spread her vision to shape an award-winning school with dedicated, innovative, and creative faculty, staff, and administration; and
Whereas, Dr. Lemrow's care and concern for her students and the community is demonstrated at "Principal Listens", a program she instituted where parents and community members are invited to the school to voice their ideas and concerns; and
Whereas, Dr. Lemrow also established the Business Advisory Council to share the needs of the community and the programs of the school, and she created several committees on which teachers serve and provide input including the Discipline Committee, Reading Renaissance Committee, Professional Development Committee, Magnet School Committee, and the Leadership Team; and
Whereas, under Dr. Lemrow's guidance, E. L. Wright has earned numerous awards and recognitions including Flagship School of Promise, Palmetto's Finest Award, School of Excellence, Red Carpet School, Exemplary Writing School, and multiple incentive awards from the State Department of Education; and
Whereas, Principal Lemrow has exhibited the pillars of leadership to E. L. Wright: worthiness, respect, character, responsibility, fairness, trustworthiness, and citizenship, and she has worked diligently and consistently to advance the academic, social, and emotional knowledge and skills of her students; and
Whereas, the House of Representatives is pleased to recognize such an enthusiastic South Carolinian as Dr. Michale G. Lemrow for her academic efforts to advance student achievement at E. L Wright Middle School. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and commend Dr. Michale G. Lemrow for her vision, dedication, and leadership as Principal of E. L. Wright Middle School, and wish her well in her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Michale G. Lemrow.
