AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-270, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE CERTAIN VOTING PRECINCTS IN GEORGETOWN COUNTY AND TO DESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER FOR THE MAP ON WHICH LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED AND MAINTAINED BY THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND STATISTICS OF THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Precinct lines revised
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-270(B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 191 of 1987, is further amended to read:
"(B) The precinct lines defining the above precincts in Georgetown County are as shown on the official map prepared by and on file with the Office of Research and Statistics of the State Budget and Control Board designated as P-43-04 and as shown on copies of the official map provided by the office to the State Election Commission and the Georgetown County Board of Voter Registration."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 27th day of April, 2004.
Approved the 29th day of April, 2004.
